
Director and Site Leader
Jharna Thammaiah holds the position of Director and Site Leader for People & Places at Intuit India, where she effectively guides the talent strategy of the site. She collaborates with business leaders, HR teams in India and worldwide to advance Intuit’s Employee True North Goals. She plays a crucial role in driving people-centric transformations in organizational design, governance and leadership capabilities by nurturing a high-performance culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), as well as fostering innovation to empower teams. As a valuable member of the Intuit India leadership team, Jharna has made significant contributions to the growth of the India site. She excels in attracting and retaining top talent, leadership coaching, organisation change management and has played a pivotal role in workplace engagement efforts, leading Intuit India to be recognized as one of the best companies to work for in the country. At Intuit, Jharna has contributed to the value of having a diverse team and inclusive culture in order to help produce the best results. She joined Intuit in 2016 as an HR Business Partner for the Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG), which focuses on flagship products like QuickBooks Online Advanced and QuickBooks Desktop. Over the past 3 years, Jharna has been leading the People & Places function in Intuit India while also overseeing the HR line function at the site. With over 21 years of progressive HR experience in the IT product and services sector, she has played a key role in driving important talent outcomes for Intuit India, significantly contributing to the success of various business segments globally as well as the growth and evolution of the India site.
Before joining Intuit, Jharna worked as an HR business manager at Infosys Limited’s Digital Integration Services, a business unit with a global workforce of over 9,500 employees. At Infosys, she was a member of the winning team for Best Managed Unit in 2012 and 2013 as well as the 2003 winner of the renowned Infosys Excellence Award for Internal Customer Delight. Her diverse experience in HR, including business partnering, change and program management, talent management, and talent acquisition, has honed her expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive solutions.
Jharna holds a Masters in Human Resource Management from Christ College Pondicherry University and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from St. Joseph’s Arts an1d Science College, Bangalore.
